What Fulham Means to Local Businesses
Hammersmith and Fulham is much more than just a borough to its residents and local businesses. For many it brings work, it brings opportunity, and it’s considered home.

It’s the local businesses that keep Fulham thriving and bustling with so many friendly faces. As a Business Improvement District, we wanted to understand what this area means to the people who keep it going day-to-day.

Spoiler alert: It turns out that Fulham is pretty popular!

Kalamaki Street Greek:

Kalamaki Street Greek has occupied a spot in the centre of Fulham for over a year now, located just a short walk from Fulham Broadway Station.

Kalamaki Street Greek delivers a modern twist on classic, delicious, and authentic Greek cuisine. We were fortunate enough to sit down with Owner and Director Aston Zorro to talk about the local area and what it does for his business.

We have a great relationship with our customers, many being repeat customers. We’ve been in Fulham for about a year and a half now. We’ve been through the hardship of COVID, but we’re in a really good position now.

We’ve got great traction again with the matchdays and the football, with lots of Chelsea fans coming in.

Bodeans:
A staple of Fulham and its food culture, Bodeans has sat proudly on Broadway Chambers for over 19 years!

Offering up an authentic taste of Kansas City BBQ to locals, it’s little wonder how they’ve become such a staple of the Fulham food scene.

Assistant Manager, Mateja, told us exactly what Fulham means not only to the business but also to her personally.

We started off with a tough question, asking Meteja to summarise what Fulham means to her in 3 words.

What fulham means to me in 3 words… I would say home, I would say family, and I would say connection.
Mateja, Assistant Manager of Bodean's BBQ
Jaffa Bake House:

Located midway down North End Road, Jaffa Bake House is a go-to spot for food and drink in Fulham. No matter what you’re in the mood for, chances are they specialise in it!

When we asked the owners of Jaffa’s what Fulham meant to them personally, we received this amazing answer;

What Fulham means to me in 3 words… I would say home, I would say family, and I would say connection.
Youcef & Mahmoud, Owners of Jaffa Bake House
