In July 2018, businesses in the BID area agreed to pay a 'levy' of 1.5% of their rateable value to fund extra services over a five-year term. This will provide a yearly income of approximately £300,000, equating to over £1.6 million during the term, to be spent on improving and championing the local area.
ADDITIONAL FUNDING
Fulham Broadway BID will also work to attract and apply for additional funding for the area from public sector grants, government support and other sources to help supplement the investment from local businesses and achieve additional projects that benefit the area.
FUNDS MANAGEMENT
The funds will be managed by a board of voluntary directors made up of local businesses representatives. All businesses are encouraged to get involved with the BID; there will be a range of open forums, themed groups and networking events as well as the opportunity to stand as board members.
